Alcohol gives me heartburn. I had 4 beers on Friday. I did not get heartburn on Friday.
Today I had orange juice. Today it hurts to breathe. Today everything tastes like orange juice. All I wanted was a glass of orange juice. Now I do not want to ever see orange juice again.
Honestly though, everything gives me heartburn.
I saw low-acid orange juice at the store last week, and the person with me couldn't understand why I was so excited. This week I will buy low-acid orange juice.
I bet it will give me heartburn.
The End.
I know how you feel. Reeses Peanut Butter Cups (the little ones in the gold foil, not the big ones in the orange wrapper) make my stomach tie up in knots. They make me feel just awful. But they are so tasty. So I eat a handful whenever they are offered. I tried low-acid coffee, and it didn't feel any different from regular coffee, but good luck with your low-acid orange juice.

I know how that goes too. I haven't had OJ in a long time but tonight the enchiladas I made for dinner were eaten with lots of iced tea and an acid reducer before I even put them in the oven. I love all those acidy foods, even though they make me burn.
ReplyDeleteI did give up hot coffee. I can have iced without a problem, it's the hot coffee that does me in. Lemme know how that low acid OJ works for you?
